Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 & 2014. Her other appearances include Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting while attending the Preparatory School. At the end of the 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career working in the Chicago area theatres for a short time. Then she moved to film and television. In 1992 Anna landed her first big character in the role of Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. The early 90s were when she was a frequent guest in TV and film like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. Skyler played Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully in addition to Deadwood was another film she starred in. Gunn appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also starred in a four-part podcast of audio plays called"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's life story and the strain on the relationship he has with Skyler can be seen in the show.
